FOSTER FOAL AND Mare SPONSORSHIP/DONATION PROGRAM
At the end of each placement season FANI attempts to place as many remaining foals into responsible foster homes as possible. There are many variables that affect our ability to do this, however, not the least of which is funding to purchase the foals and pay for their transportation to the foster homes. In order to accomplish this goal, we rely heavily on the generosity of fellow equine enthusiasts and FANI supporters who donate funds earmarked specifically for the foster foals.

*All donations can be made in honor or memory of a special equine, pet, friend, or family member; or as a gift for a holiday, birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc.
FANI will send a card of acknowledgement to the recipient.
Foal/Mare Sponsorship Form & Contributions
FOSTER HOME SPONSORSHIP FUND – these funds will be used to reduce the purchase price of a specific foal/Mare in a foster home in order to expedite the sale of the foal into a permanent home ($500 maximum per foal). All donations are tax deductible.
· Bronze: $50 – Donor receives a FANI magnet; money will be applied toward a foster foal/mare of FANI’s choice. Unless requested otherwise, donors names will be posted on the Donor Page of the FANI website.
The following levels may apply their donation to a Foster Foal/Mare of their choice from those already selected by FANI and pictured on the Foster Foals/Mares page of the website:
· Silver: $100 – Donor receives a FANI magnet and Certificate of Sponsorship
· Gold: $250 – Donor receives a Certificate of Sponsorship, a picture of fostered foal/Mare, and a FANI mug
· Platinum: $500 – Donor receives a Certificate of Sponsorship, picture of fostered foal, notification when the foal is purchased, a FANI mug, and 1 year Active/Voting FANI Membership
Note: Minimum placement fee of $300 per fostered foal. Donations resulting in a placement fee of less than $300 per foal will be applied to another foster foal of FANI's choice.
*Unless requested otherwise, the names of Silver, Gold, and Platinum level donors will be posted under their chosen foal’s/mare's picture on the Foster Foal page of the FANI website.
FOSTER HOME FUND
Donations of any amount accepted and will be deposited into a general fund and applied towards the purchase of foster foals/mares, transportation, and out of the ordinary medical expenses incurred by foster foals. Unless requested otherwise, the names for donors contributing $25 or more will be posted on the Donor Page of FANI’s website.
Note: Many corporations offer Matching Gift Programs that can double or triple your contribution. Contributions are tax deductible!
Please NOTE: Donors/Sponsors do not acquire rights to the foster foal that is sponsored.
